However, it’s important to note that the metadata returned by the Binance API for NFTs is currently limited. In our ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive data, we are actively exploring alternative sources to enhance the available information. Clients testing this feature are encouraged to reach out to us, share their experience, and provide feedback.

Transaction Classification Across All Cexs, Including Binance API

The challenge of inconsistent transaction types across various centralized exchanges, especially concerning tax and accounting software like SoftLedger, has been a persistent obstacle. Divergent naming conventions employed by exchange APIs for identical transaction activities, such as “trade,” “swap,” or “conversion,” introduce complexities that hinder accurate interpretation and categorization by financial tools.

In response to the common struggles faced by our users, we’re excited to announce the implementation of a standardized subfield known as transaction_subtype. This new addition complements the existing transaction_type field, covering primary transaction types, and the origin_type in the Misc section, which provides the original transaction type as observed on the blockchain/exchange. Rest assured, these fields remain accessible and robust.
