Python
The Vezgo Python SDK is for your backend: it requests user tokens with your client secret, and reads providers, accounts, transactions, balance history and orders.
Install
pip install vezgo
Read a user's data
from vezgo import Vezgo
vezgo = Vezgo(client_id="YOUR_CLIENT_ID", secret="YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET")
# Log in as one of your users, with the same stable ID you use as loginName
user = vezgo.login("USERNAME_FROM_YOUR_SYSTEM")
accounts = user.accounts.get_list()
transactions = user.transactions.get_list(
account_id=accounts[0]["id"],
from_date="2009-01-01",
)
What each call returns is described in Accounts and Transactions. Providers need no user:
providers = vezgo.providers.get_list()
Serve tokens to your frontend
Your users connect their accounts in the Connect widget, which runs in your web or mobile app. Give that app a user token from your backend:
user = vezgo.login("USERNAME_FROM_YOUR_SYSTEM")
token = user.get_token()
